Accreditation Service Fee Guidelines (2025)
We offer transparent, one-time accreditation fees with no hidden costs or ongoing annual charges (see total cost section below for explanation of how travel and host costs during applicable first reviews are calculated).
Fees are reviewed each June. Candidates officially inscribed are guaranteed the fee rates at the time of inscription.
General Fees for Formal Education
For formal education systems (see below for CPD), the accreditation fees are structured to accommodate both individual programmes and entire schools, either seperately or combined. A total fee for single programme accreditation carries a fee of €10,000, while accreditation for an entire school is set at €20,000. However, given the flexibility of our systems there are “combinations” that can be applied. An inscription fee is required as part of the candidacy process. This fee amounts to 10% of the total accreditation cost, capped at a maximum of €2,000 (which is subtracted from the overall amount). This fee is non-refundable as it covers essential preliminary administrative work, including eligibility checks, documentation review and initial coordination.
- Programme Accreditation: €10,000 per programme (Including inscription)
- School Accreditation: €20,000 (Including inscription)
- Inscription Fee: 10% of total fee (max €2,000) — non-refundable (see process workflow guides)
VAT is not-applicable outside of Norway
Fees for Combined Accreditations (Programme + Programme)
When accrediting multiple programmes at the same academic level that share course content, a 50% fee reduction is applied to the subsequent programmes. For instance, accrediting a Bachelor and Master programme from the same institution incurs no fee reduction and costs €20,000. However, accrediting two Masters and one PhD programme results in a 50% reduction on the second Master’s fee, totalling €25,000. Similar discounts apply for shared content among two or three Masters programmes.
For integrated degrees, such as a Bachelor leading into a Master, or a Master progressing to a Doctoral Prorgamme, the fee structure combines full fees for the initial degree with a 50% fee for the subsequent level. Both pathways are priced at €15,000, reflecting €10,000 for the first degree and half of that amount for the following degree.
- Bachelor ➝ Master: €15,000
- Master ➝ Doctoral Programme: €15,000
(Full fee for first degree, 50% discount for the second if programme is integrated.)
Fees for Combined Accreditations (Programme + School)
Institutions seeking both programme and school accreditation benefit from significant fee reductions. Specifically, programme fees are reduced by 50% when combined with a school accreditation. This reduction applies to a maximum of five programmes. For example, accrediting two programmes alongside school accreditation equates to €30,000, while three programmes combined with school accreditation amount to €35,000. See eligibility criteria for schools. Potential applicants should have a minium of two programmes lasting not less than 12 months full time. Uner this scenario the review timings will be extended)
Benefit from 50% off programme fees when combined with a school accreditation (up to 5 programmes).
- 2 Programmes + School = €30,000
- 3 Programmes + School = €35,000
