Advancing Global Collaboration in Public Health Education and Training
Join the Movement:
The International Council for Accreditation of Public Health Education (ICAPHE) is the only agency established solely to focus on accreditation and improvement of public health education at the global level.
We are committed to embedding meaningful global collaboration at every level of our work.
In response to calls from schools and programmes, we are launching a renewed initiative to strengthen international cooperation in public health education and training. This is your invitation to be part of a global community working together to build the future of public health.
Our Vision
We are creating a dynamic platform where institutions, educators and students can connect across borders. Through interactive webinars and online forums, we will explore key areas such as:
- Collaborative programme development
- Joint initiatives and research
- Shared learning experiences and resources
We invite schools, training centres, staff, students, alumni, faculty members, reviewers, employers and public health organisations to get involved. Please consider who in your institution or networks might benefit and extend this invitation to them.
Our Objectives
- Develop meaningful dialogue among global peers
- Build lasting international networks
- Lay the foundation for future partnerships
- Shape upcoming forum themes based on collective input
Pathways to Collaboration
Joint Research and Publications
International partnerships open the door to powerful collaboration in research. Working together across countries enriches data, strengthens methodologies and leads to deeper insights. Co-authored publications bring greater impact and demonstrate our shared commitment to solving global public health challenges.
Joint Degrees and Shared Learning Opportunities
Collaborative degrees and online programmes bring together diverse perspectives and equip learners with the tools to tackle global health issues. These initiatives provide real-world relevance and build cultural awareness that benefits both students and educators.
Mobility for Students and Staff
International exchanges enhance learning and professional development. Whether through short-term placements or long-term partnerships, mobility fosters new ideas, encourages innovation and creates a more connected public health workforce.
We welcome participation from:
- Public health schools, programmes and training centres
- Academic leaders and educators
- Students and alumni
- International agencies and associations
- International organisations
- Regional public health networks
This is more than a forum. It is a call to action. Together, we can shape a more collaborative and impactful future for public health education worldwide.
